Earlham’s Center for Career and Community Engagement (CCCE) connects students with opportunities to work, volunteer and make Richmond a better place to live.

Paid work-study positions at community agencies are opportunities available to students with Federal work study as part of their financial aid package. In addition to jobs on campus in various offices and departments, students can be hired by several local non-profits to do work similar to what Bonner Scholars do.

The Earlham Community Action Team (ECAT) is a new student-led initiative of the Center for Career and Community Engagement. ECAT will be sponsoring group service opportunities and will also assist non-Bonner students to find volunteer opportunities of interest.

Earlham Engage is an online site that provides information on volunteer opportunities and community events at Earlham’s partner sites.

Alternative break trips sponsored by the Center for Career and Community Engagement and Student Life happen during mid-semester and spring breaks. Groups of students travel to a nearby location to serve and learn for several days.

Earlham courses sometimes include service or community-based research. Paid summer internship opportunities with non-profits are also available to all Earlham students.
