The Admission Committee carefully reviewed your application and is delighted to offer you admission to Earlham College. We hope that you are ready to accept the opportunities that await you here. Here are some simple next steps for you to take toward securing your enrollment at Earlham.

If you have applied for need-based financial aid, you will find your financial aid award letter in the packet of information Earlham mailed to you as an accepted student. Please read this carefully and contact us at to ask questions.

If you are planning to apply for need-based financial assistance, you should submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. [Indiana residents are required to submit their FAFSA by April 10 in order to be considered for financial assistance from the state. If an Indiana resident misses this deadline, Earlham cannot replace the State aid with Earlham aid.] You must include Earlham’s FAFSA code (001793) on your application so that our Financial Aid Office can receive the analysis of your eligibility for need-based financial aid.

Celebrate your acceptance with the Earlham community by attending one of our special Admitted Student Events on April 7-8 or April 14-15. These events offer informative and fun opportunities to learn more about Earlham and the chance to meet current faculty, staff and students — as well as your future classmates! You also have the option of spending the night on campus.

Beginning December 1, you may register online.

Of course, if you are unable to attend one of our scheduled events, we can assist you in making an individual appointment. Go online or call the Office of Admissions at 1-800-EARLHAM (800-327-5426) to schedule a visit to our campus. If you cannot visit, we would be happy to connect you with Earlham faculty or students via phone or email.

Confirm your decision to accept our offer of admission by submitting your required $250 enrollment confirmation deposit online via credit card or via check by mail to Earlham College Office of Admissions, 801 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana, 47374 (include your the student's name and ID number on the check).

In accordance with the Principles of Good Practice of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), Earlham reserves places for admitted first year students in the entering class until May 1, which is the National Candidates’ Reply Date unless you are an Early Decision candidate. Therefore, you should submit your non-refundable deposit no later than May 1 (or within two weeks of your notification of admission if after May 1). Transfer students should reply by May 15 or within two weeks of your notification of admissions if after May 15.

After you submit your confirmation deposit, you will begin receiving information about new student orientation, housing, advising, classes, billing and more.
